Stage 2 Excursion - Classes 3B and 3G - Sydney Observatory

3B and 3G will be supervised by Mrs Bowers & Mr Gomez.

An excursion to Sydney Observatory has been organised for all Stage 2 students. This excursion is designed to complement the Stage 2 science unit, ‘Night and Day’. The Observatory educators will use the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Thinking Routines to stimulate deep thinking about our place in the Solar System and the amazing Universe while looking through telescopes, exploring the seasonal sky in the planetarium and using the unique augmented reality activities.

There will not be time for dinner at the venue, so we recommend that your child has a small dinner before they arrive and a snack to take with them on the excursion, to be eaten on arrival at the Observatory.
